Thyroid Blood Chemistry

Reverse T3 becomes elevated due to infection, diabetes, malnutrition, too much cortisol & excess thyroid hormones interfering with normal thyroid function.

Sulfated T-3 and thyroacetic acid make up 37-60% of total T3 and remain inactive until activated by the gut flora.

Excess cortisol contributes to leaky gut creating excess immune activation & potentially causing Hashimoto’s thyroiditis.

Estrogen can affect T4 to T3 conversion.

Support T4 to T3 conversion by reducing cortisol, healing the gut flora and eliminating estrogen & xenoestrogens.
